My name is Rodney Harrington, Rod is ok. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska. My dad was stationed there while serving in the Air Force. I grew up in Portland, Oregon with my mom and younger brother and sister. After graduating from Sunset High School in Beaverton, Oregon I joined the United States Marine Corps. I intended to be a "lifer" and stay in until retirement, however my body did not agree on those dreams. Not long after serving in the Gulf War (the first one) I started having medical problems associated with Gulf War Illness. While serving in the "Corps" I met some of my very good friends that I have today. After fulfilling my contract I moved to Lexington, North Carolina (where one of my good friends was born and raised). I have been living here since October, 1993. I have recently become married to my wife Audrey. I am currently attending Forsyth Technical Community College, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I am working on an associates degree in Internet Technology.

I have many hobbies that I enjoy doing; too many to list everything, so I'll just list the ones near the top of my list. I love to play video games. I am especially fond of the Role Playing Game genre (RPG's) and Real Time Strategy/Simulator games. Blizzard Entertainment has put out some of my favorites (War Craft 1-3, Star Craft, and all the Diablo series). The Command and Conquer series of games by Westwood Studios are pretty good as well. I enjoy playing "paper and pencil" RPG games (like Dungeons and Dragons and Lord of the Rings).I like watching hokey, the Boston Bruins being my favorite team. Last, but certainly not the least, I enjoy fishing. There is nothing like sitting out and by some water with the hope of catching the "big one". I like the relaxation I get from fishing. As I mentioned before, there are still many things I enjoy to do, but did not list them.
