Answer Review Questions 3.1 through 3.15
Type answers and provide a detailed explanation.

B.

Use the DOS TelNet application to connect to at least
3 seperate sites.

Do screen captures for each of the sites and copy it to
your word processing application.  (Ask me if you need help.)

Answer these questions:

1.  What is the purpose of each of the three sites?

2.  What are some advantages in using TelNet rather
    than the internet?

3.  What are the disadvantages?

C.

Answer these questions:

1.  What are some common ways that FTP is currently used?

2.  Why would someone choose to FTP files instead of using e-mail?

3.  Describe the process of a FTP tranfer.

D.

Draw a diagram  of how SMTP works including major components
and processes.  Provide a description of how the process
works under your diagram.  (You can use Microsoft Paint or
make the diagram in the word processing program if you like.)
